HYPERNASE is a hypertonic solution buffered at 3% sodium chloride and 0.1% hyaluronic acid, indicated for nasal mucosa decongestion and mucus thinning in cases of colds and other rhinopathies characterized by typical symptoms: 

• Nasal congestion; 
• Clear nasal discharge, yellow-green or white; 
• Sneezing. 

The HYPERNASE solution for aerosol therapy can be used to dilute medications intended for rhinological treatments; in this case, follow strictly the instructions on the medication packaging or those provided by your physician. 

15 ml nasal sprays 

Children: HYPERNASE Nasal Spray Children (3–12 years) 
Adults: HYPERNASE Nasal Spray Adult (>12 years) 

Solution for aerosol therapy 3-5 ml/dose 

Adults and Children: HYPERNASE Nebules Children (>3 years) 

Functional substances: 

Sodium chloride 3%, Sodium hyaluronate 350–1150 KDa at 0.1% (sodium salt of hyaluronic acid). 

Excipients: 

Purified water FU, Mint flavoring, Eucalyptol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Monosodium phosphate dihydrate (or Citric Acid monohydrate), Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate (or Sodium Citrate dihydrate). 

Decongests the nasal mucosa and thins mucus present in nasal cavities.  

The hypertonic solution at 3% sodium chloride exerts an osmotic effect on the surface of the nasal mucosa that thins mucus and promotes fluid drainage from swelling caused by excess fluid accumulation.  

High molecular weight hyaluronic acid provides a protective barrier effect on the nasal mucosa and supports restoration of mucociliary clearance.

Nasal Sprays: 

Children (3–12 years): 1–2 sprays per nostril several times daily (usually 3–4), until symptoms improve or as advised by a doctor. 

Adults (>12 years): 2–3 sprays per nostril several times daily (usually 3–4), until symptoms improve or as advised by a physician. 

Aerosol Therapy: 

Adults and children (>3 years): nebulize 3 or 5 ml of solution into both nostrils using a micronized nasal shower, two or three times a day, until the symptoms disappear, or as advised by a physician. 

Note:  

The duration of treatment can be adjusted based on clinical response; however, minimum duration is five days: shorter treatments do not guarantee effectiveness. 

For nasal spray (children and adults): 

1. Blow your nose to remove mucus or residues to allow the product to reach nasal areas. 
2. Remove the dispenser safety and protective cap. 
3. Prime the pump by pressing 2–3 times until a steady spray is obtained. 
4. Gently insert the dispenser tip into one nostril, keeping your head upright and slightly tilted forward. 
5. Spray once while inhaling slowly through your nose. 
6. Repeat in the other nostril following the same procedure. 

For aerosol therapy (children and adults): 

1. Blow your nose to remove mucus or residues to allow the product to reach nasal areas. 
2. Ensure bottle is intact and properly sealed before opening. 
3. Open by turning counterclockwise then break tamper-proof seal. 
4. Draw up 3 or 5 ml using supplied syringe. 
5. Insert liquid into micronized nasal shower as per nebulizer device instructions. 
6. Nebulize into both nostrils until all liquid is used up in the ampoule of the micronized nasal shower. 

Note:  

Do not exhale or blow your nose immediately after application to avoid dispersing the product (wait 10-15 minutes). Use in children must be supervised or assisted by an adult.
